Way of the Warriors is a movie about Small-town MN hockey with Big dreams. With the guidance and help of Abby Mariama, a seasoned production designer from Los Angeles, CA and Sarah Upchurch from St. Louis, MO. The Way of the Warriors art department team was able to configure over 10 script changes in the course of three weeks after production was moved up to film in November 2020. Here is a bit of the styling work I put together and then with the help of Abby we created a look for the main character’s interior space:

To create authenticity to the Minnesota storyline, director John Montague requested all highschool jerseys to be featured to be as original to the towns from which they are designated to represent. My job was to consult with the vendor, and the producers to make sure this element was perfect to the story. Through many consultations and design edits here is a collection of some designs that are in the process of being printed to be featured in the film.
